Discover Scuba Diving Bookings

  • The total amount including any discounts will be charged at the time of the booking.
  • Customers are required to complete a medical statement before scuba diving. Please read the information under “Am I Fit To Dive” on the bookings page.
  • Neither Poseidon Dive Centre, its employees nor its contractors can be held responsible for damage to, or loss of, any personal items prior to, during or after any diving activities including items stored within the dive centre.
  • Customers are entitled to request a cancellation of their session at any point. All cancellations can be made by contacting us via one of the methods on our 'contact us' page
  • Changes made by us will be unlikely. Occasionally we may have to make changes (for example, a start time change may be necessary) and we reserve the right to do so at any time.
  • We also reserve the right to rearrange or cancel your session. For example, because of adverse conditions or if a suitable instructor is not available. However, in that case, we will reschedule your booking to another suitable time.
  • Customers agree to abide by the rules and decisions of Poseidon Dive Centre, its staff and subcontractors in all diving matters.
  • Completion and submission by you of our Online Booking Form will be treated by us as confirmation that you have read, understood and accepted these booking conditions.

Group Bookings

  • When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions and agree on behalf of everyone in your party to be bound by them.
  • All bookings must be made by a person aged eighteen years or over. Where your booking is for more than one person, the first-named person in your party aged eighteen years or over will be treated by us as the 'lead name' for your booking. The lead name will be responsible for making all payments due to us in accordance with our contract.
  • Completion and submission by you of our Online Booking Form will be treated by us as confirmation that you have read, understood and accepted these booking conditions.

Refunds

  • No refunds will be made after the experience has started.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the start time shown in your booking confirmation will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours of the start time shown in your booking confirmation will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours but less than seven days from the start time shown in your booking confirmation will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee.
  • If you have to cancel due to Covid19 you may be entitled to a 100% refund. If your airline has cancelled your flight and you provide us with confirmation of the cancellation we will offer you a 100% refund. If you cannot fly due to testing positive with Covid19 and it is more than 48 hours from the start time shown in your booking confirmation, if you provide us with confirmation of the test results we will offer you a 100% refund.

SCUBA Diving Courses

  • 40% of the total amount including any discounts will be charged at the time of the booking. This deposit is used to secure the training materials for your course. This amount is not refundable.
  • Customers are required to complete a medical statement before scuba diving. Please read the information under “Am I Fit To Dive” on the bookings page.
  • Neither Poseidon Dive Centre, its employees nor its contractors can be held responsible for damage to, or loss of, any personal items prior to, during or after any diving activities including items stored within the dive centre.

  • Any other payment made towards the course is subject to the following:
    • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the agreed start time will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
    • Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours of the agreed start time will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
    • Cancellations made more than 48 hours but less than seven days from the agreed start time will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee.
    • If you have to cancel due to Covid19 you may be entitled to a 100% refund. If your airline has cancelled your flight and you provide us with confirmation of the cancellation we will offer you a 100% refund but NOT including the initial deposit for training materials which is non refundable. If you cannot fly due to testing positive with Covid19 and it is more than 48 hours from the start time shown in your booking confirmation, if you provide us with confirmation of the test results we will offer you a 100% refund NOT including the initial deposit for training materials which is non refundable.

Guided Dive Bookings

  • The total amount including any discounts will be charged at the time of the booking.

Gift Vouchers and eGift Vouchers

Purchasing

  • Purchase gift vouchers online for the specific activity or a blank gift card of a variable amount.
  • The specific activities are for one person only. If two are to attend then a quantity of two vouchers can be selected at the time of purchase.
  • Payment is online by card or Paypal only. No other payment method is available.
  • Gift vouchers are sent via and contained within the body of an email.

Redemption

  • Gift vouchers should be printed or shown on a device on arrival at the dive centre.
  • Each gift vouchers has a unique number which can be used once only.
  • They may be used to purchase goods of a higher price than the amount on the card, on payment of the difference.
  • Gift vouchers for a specific activity can be used against an alternative activity. For example, the Bubble Maker gift voucher can be used for Discover Scuba Diving instead.
  • Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • If you do not spend the entire balance on the gift card, it can be carried forward to another activity during the same week. The remaining balance cannot be carried forward past a one week period.

Period of validity

  • Gift vouchers and e-gift vouchers are valid for the period of 24 months from the date of purchase

Cancellation

  •  Gift vouchers can be cancelled and refunded within 30 days of purchase if the gif voucher has not been redeemed or part redeemed and if a booking has not been made. 

Changes to the Gift Vouchers Terms and Conditions

  • Poseidon Dive Centre reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of gift vouchers at any time and to take appropriate action, including the cancellation of the gift card, if, in its discretion, it deems such action necessary.

Data Protection

The protection of your personal information or data is extremely important to us. We will only process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy for, or in connection with the purpose for which you have provided it (for example, arranging your diving) or as you have consented to our using it (for example, to send you follow up material) or as permitted by data protection laws.

You and your personal data are protected by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (which is otherwise known as GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
