Tailored for individuals with limited time or those who prefer to dive under the guidance of a dive professional, this certification program provides essential knowledge and skills to explore the underwater realm safely.

Here’s what the SSI Scuba Diver certification entails:

1. Theory: You’ll dive into the basics of scuba diving through interactive digital learning materials or traditional classroom sessions. Topics covered include dive equipment, dive planning, underwater physics, physiology, and safety procedures.

2. Confined Water Sessions: In the controlled environment of a pool or shallow water, you’ll learn fundamental scuba skills, such as buoyancy control, regulator use, mask clearing, and emergency procedures. These sessions help you become comfortable with the equipment and build confidence underwater.

3. Open Water Dives: You’ll embark on a series of open water dives, typically under the supervision of a dive professional. These dives allow you to practice essential skills and explore the underwater environment in a natural setting, such as a lake, quarry, or ocean.

4. Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, including theory assessments, confined water sessions, and open water dives, you’ll earn your SSI Scuba Diver certification. While this certification enables you to dive under the direct supervision of a dive professional, it comes with depth limitations, allowing you to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet).

Overall, the SSI Scuba Diver certification offers a convenient and efficient way to begin your scuba diving journey, providing you with the necessary skills and knowledge to enjoy underwater exploration with confidence and supervision.
