Your course
The SSI Deep Diving Specialty develops the knowledge and practical skills needed for deeper recreational diving. You will learn how depth changes gas use, planning, equipment considerations and decision-making.
What you’ll learn
- Plan dives beyond the normal Open Water depth range.
- Use gas-consumption calculations and your dive computer more effectively.
- Recognise and manage the additional considerations associated with deeper dives.
How the course works
The program includes 3 open-water training dives. Dive sites and planned depths are adapted to conditions, your experience and the progression required by the course.
