About these terms
These terms apply to diving activities, courses and related services
booked with Poseidon Dive Centre in Cyprus.
By making a booking, you confirm that the information you provide is
accurate and that you accept the conditions relevant to the activity
you have booked.
Bookings
A booking is confirmed once Poseidon Dive Centre has accepted the
booking and any required deposit has been received.
Activity schedules, dive sites and exact timings may be adjusted when
necessary because of weather, sea conditions, diver experience,
operational requirements or safety considerations.
Deposits and payment
Poseidon Dive Centre may require a deposit of 30% to confirm a booking.
Any remaining balance is payable according to the instructions given
with your booking.
Prices shown on the website are per person unless clearly stated
otherwise.
Cancellations and changes
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled activity, the
booking deposit is non-refundable.
For cancellations or changes made earlier than this, please contact us
as soon as possible so that we can review the booking and available
options.
Where Poseidon Dive Centre must cancel or materially change an activity
because of weather, sea conditions, safety or operational reasons, we
will discuss an alternative date, alternative activity or other
appropriate solution with you.
Diver certification and experience
Certified-diver activities may require proof of a recognised scuba
diving certification.
Certain dives, including deeper dives and wreck dives, may require a
specific certification level, recent diving experience or a check dive
before participation.
Poseidon Dive Centre may change the planned dive or refuse
participation where we reasonably consider that a diver’s
certification, experience, condition or behaviour is not suitable for
the planned activity.
Medical fitness
Participants must provide accurate information about their health and
fitness to dive.
Where required by the applicable training standards, medical
questionnaire or the circumstances of the activity, a medical
assessment or medical clearance may be required before diving.

Training courses
Scuba courses are delivered according to the applicable training
standards and require successful completion of the required theory,
skills and open-water components before certification can be issued.
Course duration shown on the website is the normal Poseidon schedule
and may vary according to student progress, conditions and training
requirements.
Equipment
Where equipment is included in the booked activity, participants must
use it according to the instructions of Poseidon Dive Centre staff and
report any problem or damage immediately.
Safety and conduct
Participants must follow the instructions of Poseidon Dive Centre
staff and normal safe-diving practices.
Poseidon Dive Centre may end or modify an activity where necessary for
the safety of participants, staff or other persons.
Photos and videos
Where photos or videos are included with an activity, their
availability may depend on conditions and operational circumstances.
They are provided as an additional service and are not guaranteed in
every situation.
Liability and applicable rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or protections that
cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Scuba diving is an activity that involves inherent risks. Participants
are expected to follow safety instructions, provide accurate
information and act responsibly throughout the activity.
