Your course
SSI Open Water Diver is the complete entry-level scuba certification. You will combine digital learning, skill-development sessions and real open-water training to become a safe, comfortable and independent recreational diver.
What you’ll learn
- Prepare, use and care for your scuba equipment.
- Control your buoyancy, breathing and position underwater.
- Plan and complete recreational dives safely with a certified buddy.
- Manage the most important problems and safety procedures underwater.
How the course works
At Poseidon, we normally complete the practical course over 3 mornings, approximately 09:00–12:00, with the SSI digital learning completed around your in-water training.
