Open Water Diver certification or completed in combination with Open Water Diver
Your course
This option combines the full SSI Enriched Air Nitrox specialty with one recreational nitrox dive. You will learn the same gas-analysis and dive-planning procedures, then apply them during a real dive with Poseidon.
What you’ll learn
- Understand the benefits and limitations of enriched air nitrox.
- Analyse your cylinder and confirm the oxygen percentage.
- Calculate operating limits and configure your dive computer.
- Apply the procedures during a real nitrox dive.
How the course works
SSI does not require an open-water training dive for the Nitrox specialty itself. Poseidon adds one nitrox dive to this package so you can immediately use the knowledge in practice.
