Your course
Diving after sunset changes the underwater environment completely. The SSI Night & Limited Visibility Specialty teaches you how to prepare, communicate, navigate and manage your equipment when natural light is reduced.
What you’ll learn
- Plan and prepare a night or limited-visibility dive.
- Use dive lights and specialised communication techniques.
- Maintain orientation and buddy contact in reduced visibility.
- Experience marine life and behaviour that are rarely seen during the day.
How the course works
The program includes 2 open-water training dives. Conditions, entry points and timing are selected to provide a safe and progressive introduction to night diving.
