Your course

SSI Diver Stress & Rescue is designed to make you a more aware and capable diver. You will learn to recognise stress before it becomes an emergency, assist other divers and practise realistic rescue procedures.

What you’ll learn

  • Recognise stress and prevent problems before they escalate.
  • Assist tired, panicked or unresponsive divers.
  • Practise self-rescue and emergency-response techniques.
  • Build confidence when managing challenging diving situations.

How the course works

The SSI program combines academic learning, confined-water practice and 3 open-water sessions. Training is progressive so rescue techniques can be practised safely before realistic scenarios are introduced.
