Open Water Diver course - For beginners
IMPORTANT: You will be booking the SSI course. However, on the second page of the booking form you will get the option to change to PADI. Choose 'PADI with eLearning (per person)' to book the PADI course.
It takes 3 to 4 days to complete this course and you will be qualified to dive independently with another certified diver to a maximum depth of 18m.
This course consist of some self study, 5 confined water dives and 4 open water dives. With eLearning you will have online access to the course material which will save you money by not having to buy big manuals and you will have lighter holiday luggage!
Once you have completed the online work, you can come out to us and, after a short knowledge refresh, we jump straight into the water and on with the practical part of your course. This means maximum water time on your valuable holiday.
Becoming a scuba diver is the first step in a journey that will forever change the way you experience the world. You will explore the wonders of a weightless underwater world, interact with incredible marine life and discover ecosystems hidden beneath the surface.
Learning to dive is much easier than you may think.
If you want to dive anywhere you want, with anyone you want, the Open Water Diver program is your international certification to open up the underwater world.
There are two agencies to choose from, SSI and PADI. Both are equally recognised around the world. We recommend SSI because it is more flexible for you, the student and also slightly cheaper. To complete the PADI online course will be a little more expensive and this option is available at checkout.
Please note: The booking you make will need to be approved first and a mutually agreeable start date chosen. Only pay a deposit now, we will agree and confirm the start date and then assign the learning materials to you
** Discount applied at checkout for multiple students
** During the checkout process you will enter your preferred start dates. We will confirm which date you will start to ensure you have enough time to start the theory.
