Your course
The SSI Scuba Diver program is a shorter route into scuba certification. You will build the essential knowledge and in-water skills needed to dive safely with an SSI Professional, while completing roughly half of the full Open Water Diver program.
What you’ll learn
- Use and understand your basic scuba equipment.
- Develop buoyancy, breathing and underwater-control skills.
- Learn the essential safety procedures used on recreational dives.
How the course works
At Poseidon, we run the course over 2 half-day sessions. Once certified, you can later complete the remaining training and upgrade to SSI Open Water Diver.
